Growing up between Fishers Island, NY and a working sheep farm in Hadlyme, CT, Kari developed a sensitive and practical approach to the land.  She has been a landscape designer with her own company for over 19 years.  At age 21, Kari formed her own landscape contracting and design company, Brooke Services on Fishers Island, NY.
